Global Security 101

We collaborated with the Snap team to expand the Global Travel Security World that we had previously created–complete with Catzilla, a Stormageddon, and even identity theft. The challenge was to take a long, information dense, script and make it entertaining on a small budget. We leaned heavily into our sticker concept that emulates the stickers and gifs within the Snap platform. This allowed for simple, yet effective animation that when paired with our expressive characters, made an successful and enjoyable explainer.

This asset was a part of a global launch at Snap Inc aimed to engage their 5,000+ workforce to learn about what travel security resources Snap offers to keep them safe for both business and personal travel. Hopefully no Snap team members will experience an alien cat invasion, but you always should prepare for the unexpected.

Behind the Scenes

At BIEN we are always trying to push the work, even on a small budget. We incorporated a 3D Catzilla city takeover, a few cel character animations, and a sticker leave-behind for the client that are printable, digital, and even slack animated gif reactions.

Our fliers on the wall initiative was in full swing for this project. We had 17 fliers that were actively engaged, joining calls and asking questions, as we created these assets.
